News: More Acts Added to Rockness Line-Up
Rockness is shaping up to be rather spectacular this year and yet more great acts have been added to the bill including urban queen Ms Dynamite (teeee heee) and Scottish lovelies James MacKenzie & the Aquascene.
Also added to the bill is the ever-popular Yasmin, Swedish poppers Niki and the Dove, Mike Dignam and Glasgow favourites Strawberry Ocean Sea.
The award winning festival will take place between the 10th and 12th of June over in Dores – which to the geographically challenged is near Inverness.
Festival Director Jim King said: “We’re really pleased to announce these latest acts. James MacKenzie & the Aquascene are a really talented local band that I can’t wait to hear live, Yasmin is going to be huge and it’s really exciting to have Miss Dynamite. We’ve also got the cream of the Highland club scene to rock Howard’s End into the early hours. Howard’s thinking of pulling out his dub step set so the guys had better be on top of the game. There’s now officially only 2 weeks to go until the start of the summer!”
