Preview: Mix_Up_Mayhem Part II
Mix_Up_Mayhem, by the lovely folks at Glasgow PodCart, is back for part 2 in Bar Bloc this Friday. Now for those unaware of Mix_Up_Mayhem’s rules it’s kind of like Battle Royale without the killing. Each band playing will not only delight the ears with their own material but will also do a cover of a well known song and, crucially, will also cover a song from another band on the bill. Pretty neat yes?
Rising to the challenge this time are those lovely little sweathearts known as So Many Animal Calls, the luscious Kill the Waves and bluegrass giants The Dirty Beggars. All followed by a tea-fuelled DJ set by Mr All The Queens Bovine.
The actions starts at 9pm and ends at 3am. Entry is free before 11pm and word on the grapevine is that there will be sweets and icepoles…
