CALVET is an inspiring film about an extraordinary life, the life of Jean Marc Calvet. A man who moved from a life of crime, drugs and prostitution to a new life as a successful artist thanks to the discovery of painting. It is through art that Jean Marc felt encouraged to embark on a difficult but necessary journey to redemption, a journey that will help him make peace with his past and with himself.

It’s an honest, respectful and non-exploitative film that demonstrates the exceptional power of art and invigorates the faith in the human spirit. The message is clear: “never believe you’ve played your last hand”.

    Very inspiring story. A lot of people have been into drugs and bad things but they are given second chances. A lot of them are doing their best in making their lives much better because of the second chance given to them. For all we know everybody deserves a second chance.
