This film takes the viewer to a beautiful and magical location where life doesn’t end, it just takes a new form. We are in a 400 years old monastery in Portugal, a spiritual place of peace and freedom populated by biological mechanisms where imagination has no boundaries and motion is endless.

In the gallery above you can find some of the kinetic sculptures created by Christiaan Zwanikken, including the animated singing palm leaves and the cyborg hare seen in the film. This was part of the exhibition taken place at the Teviot House Row during the Edinburgh International Film Festival.
